Chairwoman Blessing called the meeting to order at 8:40 P.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion to approve the Budget Meeting minutes of March 19, 2009 was made by Jim Poole with the following amendment. Elizabeth Marco seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
In the motion to approve the Planning & Zoning Budget Request Ken Schoppmann voted no.
PRESENT TO SPEAK
Selectman Eldredge asked that we look at the Insurance line item #831 to change the amount due to a reduction in premiums. Chairwoman Blessing said we would add this to the Budget Discussions under Old Business.
NEW BUSINESS - None
OLD BUSINESS
Fire Marshall’s adjusted budget –
Jim Poole motioned to approve the Fire Marshall’s budget for $222,275. Ken Schoppmann seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
Board of Finance -2- April 7, 2009
Auditor correct budget request –
Jim Poole motioned to correct the budget request for line item #133 to $30,000 from $29,000. Ken Schoppmann seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
Line item #831 reduction – Selectman Eldredge informed the Board that Line item #831 request is reduced by $15,000 due to a reduction in premiums.
Chairwoman Blessing motioned to cut the Selectman’s budget by $15,000 for lime item #831 due to a premium reduction from 20% to 9.3%. Mark Jones seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.

The Annual Town Budget meeting will be held on April 21, 2008.
